Oh yes, that ole trick of eating the rat. Dangling it down by your mouth, but the camera angle is conveniently shot from the side, so the actor could just drop it down on the side of his/her head. I was in third grade at the time of this miniseries, and I remember everyone doing that trick in the lunchroom.
Maybe five or six years ago, I watched V again too. It was enjoyable to watch.
