I haven’t written any poems yet — but I’ve used the typewriter to create postcards and put addresses on envelopes. What’s fascinating about this typeface is that it’s similar to the style of printing that was specified by numerous government forms I’ve filled out over the years. That oddball “9” is the same as form instructions demanded; same with the “4.”

That large type face machine would be good for typing notes in greeting cards, or for short poems. Nice!
